Today @cfspencerm_xnd pointed out how much skinnier my face looked from when I moved here. I laughed and said no way. Then found a pic from when I moved here in July. I have always struggled with #nutrition. I ate kinda good but mostly not the best. I fell into fads and trying what was “cool” at the time. I go to n board with @pfncoaching and that all changed. The way I view food and what is going on in my body. Since learning so much about my body and what works n what doesn’t it’s clear to me now I understand how this all works. I sleep way better. My trainings sessions yet still heavy and tons of volume I am recovering way better. I mainly eat gluten and dairy free. When I say clean I mean about 95%. As this is not ideal for most and I still struggle on certain days I love how I feel and am thankful to finally get it. Education and body response is so important as is education. Find what works for you and stick to it. I think the most important is discipline!!

Our premise is that although we can’t stop getting older, we can minimize the degree to which age-based changes limit our lives. Understanding the aging process is the first step in learning what is possible for an older athlete. The trainer needs to be well equipped with accurate information to promote successful aging and challenge any self-imposed limitations older clients may place upon themselves. The trainer also plays a key role in breaking down societal prejudices in relation to masters athletes and physical training, and deep knowledge is essential to be successful in doing so. If we look to the research on aging, there is general agreement on the types of changes that occur but less certainty about the timing and extent of the changes. Although the changes will happen to all of us, not everyone is affected to the same degree. Some people remain fit, healthy and functional well into old age, whereas others descend into decrepitude during middle age. What is clear is that we share a common goal, which is to defy the aging process and push the changes associated with aging as far as possible into the future. There is concord in the research that maximizing fitness throughout the lifes- pan is the best defense against the effects of aging. This also makes intuitive sense. The more work capacity we have prior to middle age, the greater the hedge we have against loss of capacity. The less initial work capacity we have, the more obvious age-based changes will be. On a tous déjà vu un sportif au torse bien musclé mais avec des jambes fines en mode flamant rose 🦆 (y'avais pas de flamant rose d'ou le canard 😂) Mais l'harmonie et l'équilibre musculaire et important ça évitera des blessures ! . . 2ⲉ̀ⲙⲉ ⲉⲅⲅⲉⳙⲅ : Être impatient . Je veux un résultat tout de suite. Souvent on espère des résultats sans se donner les moyens d'atteindre l'objectif fixés " 💭 je m'entraîne une fois par semaine..." 🤔 D'une manière générale une séance par semaine = entretien / 3 séances par semaine = progression . . 3ⲉ̀ⲙⲉ ⲉⲅⲅⲉⳙⲅ: Charger trop lourd . Certains charge trop lourd alors qu'ils débutent. Il faut privilégier l'aspect technique des mouvements dans un premier temps. Cela évitera des blessures. Motivé comme jaja quand on débute la musculation on a tendance à passer plusieurs heures en salle tous les jours🥵 Mais un entraînement fréquent ne permet pas un repos optimal du muscle et du coup ça devient contre-productif ! . . 2ⲉ̀ⲙⲉ ⲉⲅⲅⲉⳙⲅ : Une mauvaise alimentation 🍔 . Que vous ayez comme objectif de perdre du poids, de prendre du muscle etc... , la qualité de votre nutrition sera primordiale pour arriver à vos objectifs. Oubliez-le : 70 % entrainement et 30 % alimentation (...)
